Easy Ways to Earn Money Online
Posted by David | Filed under Student Saving Tips, The Web
OK so before you start reading this article don’t expect me to give you some 30 second way to earn some huge amount of money online! These methods will make say around £10-20 a year max! They are a selection of survey sites I’ve found that do work and do pay out whether it be in Amazon Vouchers or real money. If you want more you will have to put in a lot of hard work building a successful website!
Ciao!

Ciao is unique in that it is a sort of community website, where you can write revies on products, for some of which you will earn a small amount of money for a review that your community members feel is good, a bonus can sometimes be achieved for an superb review, where you will receive quite a reasonable sum of money (the last “diamond” review I received gained me £10 extra). Bad reviews will not earn you money, and you will get a negative reputation within the community.
Ciao also offers surveys, which it sends to your email address. The surveys are sometimes tailored a bit to the interests you filled out on registration, though sometimes you can find that you cannot do a survey because, you are still not the specific demographic required, or they have had “too many” applicants similar to your demographic. Surveys topics range dramatically.
You aren’t going to earn money fast with Ciao, but its a sure but slow process, over a year if you get enough surveys you could earn about £10 or so, which is enough to buy a DVD or something! It is probably easier to earn money doing a minimum wage job than with Ciao, but it is something you can do around lectures and it takes up relatively little of your time. My biggest criticism as with all these sites is how boring they can get after a while!
Media Transfer

Media Transfer will send you surveys on a not particuarly regular basis, they do pay though. If you earn 100MTs (The Media Transfer Currency) you will be able to request a £15 Amazon gift voucher.  It took me just over a year to gain this sum, but it did save a bit of money on my next Amazon purchase!
Opinion PanelÂ

OpinionPanelResearch are after three main types people for their surveys. Students, Graduates and Applicants. You can progress through the three sections as you become each of them. Similar to MediaTransfer you earn Amazon vouchers, this time you must get a minimum of £25 to gain your voucher, but they do help you along by giving you £10 practically for signing up and filling in some basic starter questions. The surveys appear to be quite infrequent, i’ve not reached my £25 target since I started 3 years ago!

I personally use valuedopinions.co.uk, I’ve been with them since the end of last year and have so far earned £12, ten of which I’ve claimed in amazon vouchers.
In my experience they email surveys out a lot more frequently than some of the others and will tell you if you haven’t qualified after only a few questions.
